Nurul Haque from Shambhuganj, Mymensingh, has been a hero of many episodes of Hridoye Mati O Manush. He’s a fisherman and hatchery entrepreneur, but there’s another Nurul Haque hidden behind this identity. Who’s not just a fisherman or an owner of a hatchery but also a hero, working hard to progress our fishery sector and the people who are involved with the sector. Instead of business profit, he puts his priority on saving our indigenous varieties of fishes. To make this thought alive, he has been through higher level of research to building hatchery and even had to become an entrepreneur. After spending days after days of hard labour, experiments and research, he had to take the challenge. Result comes out as success sometimes and sometimes it indicates even more pursuit. Working like this he comes up with success every now and then. This time the success is widely talked-about and it is the fish called, ‘Gaang-Magur’.
