Pre-budget field meeting with farmers being held since the year 2005, organized by Channel i's prominent agro-development based TV programme Hridoye Mati O Manush. The initiative is known as Farmers' Voices in Budget. Planned Directed and Presented by Shykh Seraj who is the leading development journalist of Bangladesh working in this arena for more than three decades. The field recommendations are directly sent to the policy level of the government so that they can decide in favour of farmers and allocate and facilitate more for farmers in the national budget.
