For example, Rajshahi's Godagari was famous for producing tomatoes, Munshiganj for potatoes. These days are gone. The whole Bangladesh can produce all the varieties of crops. This is the result of crop diversification. Recently, another region has become famous for tomatoes- it's Jazira in Shariatpur district which has hundreds of acres filled with tomatoes.
